electric front windows only, no climate but MIGHT have aircon, manual seats, pas, cl, MIGHT have a sunroof, no wood trim, no real toys but the basics are there.

pretty basic - tourer is the estate version of reflection, which is a 'sporty looking' base spec.

No climate
car400
leccy front windows
A/C or Sunroof
basic cloth seats (unheated iirc)
projector headlights

What upgrades can be done to it without changing wiring etc...can I put the CD interior into it without problems i.e. will the front seats still have the airbags on the tourer...will the electrics be there for the heated seat etc??

Whats the stereo like? What stereo upgrades can be put straight in?

Do they do manual and auto versions?

They do manual and auto 2.0 and 2.5, elec rear window wiring is there. Radio wiring is standard ISO, not sure about airbags etc... :-/

Reason I ask is I just acquired one stc...so wondering how much of my mini facelift CD I can transfer to the car..interior should be a straight swap if all the mini facelifts have airbags on the front seats...stereo in the CD is a CCR500...

If wiring is there then what is needed to make rear windows electric bearing in mind I would be changing door cards anyway?

window switches front and back and the motors, thats it. Radio will be a straight swap(if you have the code for the new one) airbags im not sure about, but as you say if they both have them then no probs ;)

auto dim mirror is a nice mod, adjustable intermitent wipers, wheels, rear elec windows, seats etc..., radio, i think that will keep you busy Chris :y

Managed to find a pic of one on ebay...the alloys look really nice, sort of like the softstar elites?? I have a couple of auto dim mirrors, not sure how confident I would be with the wiring but you never know...if its a straight swap the nice dark grey cloth CD interior is going straight in along with the CCR500 stereo...adjustable intermittents is just a matter of changing the stalk and adding the relay (both of which I have) I think I'm right in saying?? Will have the motors in the CD...and the switches already on the door cards of the CD...so shouldnt take too long at all really lol

Have to say I'm looking forwards to having a manual 2.5 v6 :) Good point, will have to save myself a set of 3.0 cams, can fit them in at a cambelt party and uprate at the same time (although the cambelt is sorted for quite some time :)

Right, car is now safely in my hands :) MOT till end Nov, Tax till end of month, cambelt and tensioners done (with receipts) in 09/2006 and only 5000 miles put on the clock since with computerised MOT and milage to verify...the guy could practically have walked the 2k a year he seems to have done lol

Car in generally good condition with just the usual rust at top of doors (which of course can always be replaced! :)

Hate the cloth interior but again can always be replaced, but doesnt seem to have side airbags on the front seats unlike my CD estate...I assume that will cause airbag light problems if I fit it?? Also doesnt have the heated seats which the CD has, will the wiring be there anyway do you think for the heated seats if I swap the interiors over?

Stereo has been removed...cut out which is a bit of a pain in the bum so will need to wire in the CCR500...also noticed that despite being a mini facelift (stereo controls on steering wheel) it doesnt have the traction control button above the stereo (can this be done if you already have the mini facelift TC button or will it need rewiring?) or the mini facelift design for slotting in the load cover (although I'm sure thats easy to swap over...

But has projectors, manual 2.5v5 gearbox which runs and sounds VERY sweet indeed...

Think I may need to do the cam cover gaskets but I can live with that lol :)
