Is the the injection pump actually made by Bosch or another non-Vx manufacturer?....if so, what about a Diesel/Fuel-Inj. parts/service specialist who could supply just 'service' part (gasket) for the pump.  ;)

Mabye try and get a hold of one that's broken so they won't be trying to sell on the whole pump.  Mabye try the wanted section in the forum or ebay.  I can't think of anything more annoying than having to replace a whole part for something like that.  Similar thing happened to me with a crack in the plastic part of my radiator - the rest of the radiator was in perfect condition and had to replace the whole part.  Good luck buddy.  :y

its a square ring, ring seal which any good bosch service centre should be able to get hold of have seen quite a few with the top dribbling but  usually  some carefully applied sealant round the outer edge of the seal cures it, not anywhere near the insides of the pump tho!!! :y
