hi all it`s been a while,
can anyone help!! my injector pump is leaking I need the rubber seal that fit`s around the inside of the lid of the injector pump, i`ve been told off mr vauxhall that you have to buy a new pump as they don`t do spares for it, crikey are they taking the pee, a new pump for the sake of a rubber seal that would cost a few pounds, HELP :'(

What about trying a breakers?
-
thought bout that but they want £120 for a pump they`r not keen to just let me have the lid, wonder why. ha ha. cheers matey :)

Is the the injection pump actually made by Bosch or another non-Vx manufacturer?....if so, what about a Diesel/Fuel-Inj. parts/service specialist who could supply just 'service' part (gasket) for the pump. ;)
-
Not sure bout that as only took the lid off and not the whole pump, but will check it out. cheers :)

Mabye try and get a hold of one that's broken so they won't be trying to sell on the whole pump. Mabye try the wanted section in the forum or ebay. I can't think of anything more annoying than having to replace a whole part for something like that. Similar thing happened to me with a crack in the plastic part of my radiator - the rest of the radiator was in perfect condition and had to replace the whole part. Good luck buddy. :y

its a square ring, ring seal which any good bosch service centre should be able to get hold of have seen quite a few with the top dribbling but usually some carefully applied sealant round the outer edge of the seal cures it, not anywhere near the insides of the pump tho!!! :y

could try bmw or landrover. Failing that, sealent

got in touch with diesel bob he does a full seal kit for £35 + vat, think i`ll go for that. cheers folks. :)
