Title: Alarm active = no horn
Post by: SteBla on 05 May 2008, 21:02:35
I tired out the alarm for the car today to just see what it sounded like. So I sat inside it locked and deadbolted it (double tap remote) waited for the red light inside to go out then moved around. It set off the flashing indicators but no horn/alarm

Is it meant to make noises or not?

Looks like someone has disconnected the power sounder.

Power sounder only goes off if batt is disconnected.......tho being a P reg, it might not have one  :-/

Horn should sound with car alarm, does the horn work??
