Now the weather has improved I intend to spend next weekend on the car and am going to be replacing the camshafts with a 3.0 litre upgrade.Have all the bits I need except the camshaft seals so will be ordering them in morning .Does anybody have the part no,s for them and idea of price as expect local stealer will need to order them in and from past experience the bits normally arrive wrong .Thanks

All I can say is use genuine ones. Pattern ones fail!

Called in at local dealers today at lunch time..only a young guy serving.According to him and the magic machine there is 3 types of cam shaft seals listed ???anybody bought them before and have part number to hand /cost,before I go back on way to work in morning to dealers and try and sort it out.

Re-use the old ones, they will be fine.
The cam shaft oil seals have never changed and are the same as used on the X20Xe and X18XE....

Thanks Mark..thought it safer to fit new then limiting chance of leaking after refit.

Right had a look, and the p/n is 90285291 and its size is 35x48x7mm.
Not sure what the parts guy is on about as its only showing 1 type of seal ;)
