I'm guessing that I have to lock something into the pulley nuts to undo 32mm Nut between fan & pump. Or am I missing something :(
Then should I expect to have to clout it?

Never done a TD Omega but on a Senator you put your 32 mm slim spanner onto the nut behind the fan & then used a 8mm? (maybe 10mm?) Allen key on the cap haed in the centre remembering of course that it's a LEFT hand thread.

There is a flat spring clip on the front of the fan. Kinda hard to see, if I prize this off is there a set screw behind.

And the viscous fans!!!!

Getting the viscous fan off is a fiddly arsed job, you have got to find a way of stopping it turning. I used a screwdriver positioned against the block and wedged against the fan - took a few attempts to get it right.
You have then got to get in there and give it a good yank clockwise. If you do it without skinning your knuckles or bashing your hand somehwere I will be very impressed! ;D

I'm still not sure i get it. I have to turn 32m nut on shaft clockwise against pulley or fan?

32mm nut needs to be undone clockwise (left hand thread), whilst somehow holding the pump pulley to stop it turning. Sometimes they come easy, sometimes a right bitch.

So, if i'm getting it right. Wedge the little bolts on the pulley with something & whack the stilson on the 32m nut clockwise.
Running with the heater on full seems to pull it quickly down to 97deg
