Title: Dishonest Computer

Hi everyone not having a good run now its my computer read out playing up
went out for a trip and the engine overheated and then stalled in traffic steam everywhere called the AA and it was the top hose leaking (just a split) he did a temporary repair to get me home but now the computer keeps telling me the coolant level is low (it isn't) cant find a sensor anywhere if if I could wouldn't know what to do anyone any ideas?

could be the sensor in the bottom of the coolant exspansion tank un plug it short it across with bit of wire see if it goes off,had same problem with brother in laws 2.5 reflection,temp fix until got new or decent second hand one :y :y :y

Mine's the same- plugged in & i have "check coolant level". Like Geoff says try the wire in the plug, if this works try some Caustic Soda or Cola in the exspansion tank, this sometimes works. Leave it in for a few hours to clear all the crap away from the sensor. Though it didn't work on mine  :(, but cheaper than a new tank  ;)
