Title: Rear adjuster for geometry setting ?
Post by: bigdods on 20 May 2008, 16:44:15
I did a quick search but couldnt find anything helpful...so...

Im off to WIM next week for a full Geometry set up and new tyres to be fitted. After a chat on the phone they suggested I spray liberal amounts of WD40 on the rear adjusters between now and when it goes in next week. Can anyone post a piccy of what I should spray ?

Cheers

Dodsy

Anything on the rear suspension with a 'screw thread' just to be sure.  ;) ;) The important two links are inline but to the rear of bottom rear wishbone.

I would suggest something like Plus Gas is better penetrating.

WD40 is fine for this, as it has time to work in.

Only place is the rear track rods, spray on threads, the locknuts, and in the little slits in the rod.  May as well do front trackrods as well...
