Title: poor idle - won't rev
Post by: HerefordElite on 20 May 2008, 23:06:24
drove to work fine this morning all ok........

on the way home all seemed ok untill i stopped at lights and car wouldn't idle (dropped below 500rpm very rough as if about to stall)

when i drove off it wouldn't rev cleanly and felt like it was missing badly posssibly running a cylinder or two down? :-/

stopped at garage and left it for 5mins and all seemed ok :-?
fingers crossed for morning :P

any ideas? :-?

Check the plugs wells for oil ... all my misfire problems, with no EML, were down to cam cover gaskets/oil in plugs.

The oil gets hot, shorts out the HT , misfire...

If you leave it too long .. HT leads get ruined as well .. :(
