Title: V6 Injectors.
Post by: Pete Elite on 21 May 2008, 17:09:19
  Hi,
I had my injectors cleaned approx. 6 months ago and am only now going to reinstall them, is it possible to test them to make sure they have not seized up as the people who cleaned them said may happen if left to long before using?

   Thanks,
             Pete.

You can try applying a voltage to them from, say a battery charger and see if they "click" open. Not 100% proof that they are OK but better than nothing.

TBH, I would just bung them in. I have had injectors from scrapyards that have been sitting in wrecks with manky fuel in them and they've always worked fine when tested.

Got a couple here that I know are fine if you need one in the end but I agree...not really the kind of thing that fails very often on the v6...
