favour to ask from someone with a TC book handy, whats the price for GM rear shocks for a saloon (not self leveling)
Never touched the rears under my ownership, its now almost on 110k miles i bet they have never been done.
Bought the springs this weekend, thought i would do shocks at the same time when i change the springs.
TIA :y

Sorry, the price I suggested on Sat was a bit low, gone up to £45 + VAT each now...

Thought you said £20 for drop links?
£45+ vat is quite cheap i think :)
I will ring Vx tommorow and tag them onto the order of the zorst for my dads 2.2 :D

Today's top tip, hold the top of the shock with an adjustable spanner not a 6mm as they tend to snap when you try to undo the 16mm nut.
An adjustable has a bit more meat to swing against.

It's bizzare how many 'movers' I have. From little 4" up to 18/20" :-[

Thought I said £20 for a pair of droplinks, and £40 + VAT each for rear shocks? My brain was mush, so could have been spouting gibberish though ::)

Are the self-levelling rear shocks much more expensive?

Any ideas on who I can ask for part numbers from for front and rear MV6 shocks (self-levelling).
As these aren't standard for my car (Elite) the VRN won't do them any good.
BTW: What's a "TC Book" and can I get one legitimately?
