Title: position of alarm ?

NEED A BIT OF ADVICE, I HAVE A CUSTOMER WHO OWNS A 2.0 CDX AUTO (on a p plate), THE PROBLEM HE HAS IS HIS ALARM WILL NOT WORK OF THE FOB.   RIGHT MY QUESTION IS 1 - IS IT A STANDARD FIT FROM VAUX
2- IF SO WERE IS IT FITTED ?
  The fob has 2 buttons (red and green lights)  The indicators flash until the key is put in to the ignition.
Dont want to start stripping out the dash only to find its in the boot etc. :-X

try resyncing the remote fella turn ing on and press buttons till the doors lock  !!  :y
