Is there such a thing as a "genuine part" windscreen for the Omega or are they all supplied by third party agents like Autoglass nowadays? If the latter, are the replacements as good as the original? Is there variation in quality from different suppliers? If I went to a main dealer would they just get Autoglass (or some such) in to do it?
Mine has suffered scouring from poor quality, and/or infrequently changed/cleaned, wiper blades. Not an MOT failure but very distracting when driving into a low sun. I'd like to change it at some time but want a pucker item.
Thoughts on what to do and what not to do appeciated.

Ditto to the above. mine has water leakage and looks pants! Would i be best to claim on insurance, or pay for replacement??

Ditto to the above as well :-/. Last check was about £200.00 what pricing have you fellers got?

If it were to 'develop' a bigger hole ::)
£70 on the insurance, providing you have windscreen cover
Would try and avoid RAC windscreens in favour of autoglass

Okey dokey! 200 a bit steep. hoping for less than that. have windscreen cover with no exess, so may ask them.

I agree with Jimbob. Autoglass put me a screen in one of my Carltons. Didnt have a single issue with them or the quality of the glass.

As for "developing" a larger hole, just park it in my street for the afternoon. The "little angel" with the catapult certainly made short work of my rear screen.
(If he isn't exactly a little angel now, he certainly will be if I ever get my hands on him ! >:()
