Spent saturday morning down the car club with the intention of replacing my wishbones, First side I tackled had only one problem and that was after I removed the Pinch bolt, the Ball joint stalky thing was an absolute bugger to shift, I used one of those screw up type ball joint splitters and it eventually shifted.
The otherside was less of a problem, until i realised that I had put the long bolt in the short hole and the short bolt in the long hole !!!! Oh dear !!! , time to swap them over !!
All in all took 3 hours and now No clunks !!!!
If there is anyone in the hampshire area that needs a hand doing this I have the tools and the know how too fresh in my mind and for a few beers would be happy to carry it out again.
Cheers

i think mine need doing, not looking forward to it :(

Its really not that hard if you have the right tools, pre- soak the bolts with wd40 or simular a few days before.
The hardest part is gettin the ball joint free from the hub and then getting the new one back in.

That's a very generous offer there...
Can't comment on the actual job though, I got the wishbones in but sold the car before actually tackling the job so Mikedundee now has my new wishbones.... I am sure they will be put to good use somewhere.

Having just got a quote on wishbones from andyc he has listed prices for the various associated bolts.
Did you need to purchase any for this job, or were you able to re-use them all?

You can re-use the bolts for this job as although they are angle tightened, they are not stretched.
