was the last 2.5 BMW Diesel used. Anyone know?

Yeah sorry, In an Omega.

I thought the 2.2 diesel replaced the 2.5 earlier than 2003 :-/

Its just ive seen a 2002 facelift Omega which is advertised with a 2.5 diesel engine.

I would advise you that if anything wrong with engine, don't go there....   ....been there, done that  ::)

If its an auto (likely on a 2.5TD), remember the gearbox may not be much cop either.
