With your extra cash, get someone to spray it for you. :y

Could do, but i would like to have a go myself, if I stuff it up then I would take it to a body shop.
Just wondered how easy it would be as i have the patience of a saint when it comes to doing anything on miggy

It can be very difficult to get a good finish with aerosols especially metalic. If you can get the use of a compressor and spray gun and buy the proper paint that would be better. If not it may be worth seeing what a local body shop would charge to put the top coat on if you prepped and primed it

Personally I'd take it to a paintshop, would guess that they'd have the spray booth facilities and would also 'bake' the paint on.
I guess it all depends how confident you are to do the job. It'd be bloody awful if I did it! ::) ;D

Most likely will be if i do it, no pain, no gain ;D ;D ;D

While i was showering, i thought of you. ;)
If you are to try this yourself, why not do a how 2 with pictures.
Or a before and after?
Good luck with your project.

Quite easy I am told with aerosols, just spray R<L or L<R depending on your prefrence, do not go U or D
even better if you have a warm place in which to do it. And that's direct from a body shop

If you do decide to have a go with aerosols you will have to ensure that you do not get a stripe effect'.As aerosol cans contain more solvent and propellant than actual paint the chance of runs and "sags" are greatly increased
-
When spraying with aerosol cans the rules are very simple ...... :)
many many very light coats, never try to put on a thick one.. it will just run :(
always wait 30 minutes between coats, it may look dry, it may feel dry, but the next coat will sag if the previous is not dry.
as previously said, spray across not up and down, this also reduces the chance of runs .. unless you spray heavily when it actually increases them !!
with patience and care it can be done well

Thanks for all your replys, I will think about doing it, if I do I will post pictures on how to in the relevent section.
