There are a few issues that need to be sorted, the wiring for the heated seats is slightly different, as is the wiring for the pre-tensioners, they need to be swapped for and put on the earlier seats.

The backs are already on  having been washed, hoovered, fed and polished.......hmmmmmm recaro leather, nice :y

I have the good fortune on my side in that my girlfriend is very keenly interested in cars, and "odd" styling, and i know she'd let me furnish our living room using car seats if we could make it look good

remember the table and chair set Jeremy Clarkson had built from an old porsche, using 2 seats with a glass topped engine block?

I certainly do, I was going to mention them earlier.

Bit of pipe bending and welding.  Nice piece of plate glass would look nice on a painted/chromed Miggy V6 block.   :y :y

Real nice. One thing though, if they are from a pre-facelift, doesn't that mean they don't have the side airbags ?  Just a thought as that would invalidate your insurance.

The Mini Facelift has side airbags :y

Ah right, bit of confusion from the heading.  I was going on the Pre-facelift , Mini facelift and Facelift discriptions.

Well in that case, they're reeeeeaally nice.

this was one of the reasons why i bought them, they would go straight in however the wiring does need to be sorted.

The pretensioners need changing for the later ones and i have a feeling that the seat heater wiring will need modding, that is a job that need doing

They were in real crap order when we removed then on weds afternoon but fortunatly there was no damage to them. The biggest head ache we had was getting them all in to the car to get them home and some cunning plans were needed but we got there in the end.

 ;D ;D

ahh yes...how to get 2 interior into an Omega  ;D

A quick wash, hoover and some leather feed saw them in good order, all of this was done by an enthusiastic teenager  ;D

the pin configuration on the multiplug is different so that will need modding, nothing too serious though  :y

she does, very much, though i think its more mainly because she feels extremely safe in it, she liked my 2.0 GLS too, she's not too taken with the idea of me downgrading to a little corsa
