Title: Holiday trip
Post by: paul.77 on 10 June 2008, 23:06:44
Hello all
Going on a camping holiday to Cornwall in 4 weeks I always have the car serviced before I go. Is there anything I should have changed before I go(apart from plugs/filters etc). This is our first long trip in the v6 and dont really won't anything to go wrong if it is preventable.

Had the miggy 8 months now the only thing that is wrong is the front muilti ram is not opening.I have checked all pipes and they are connceted up as the diagram, but it does not work. any ideas?

thanks in advance Paul

I suppose it depends on when the car was last serviced, cambelt and tensioners were last changed. I would carry a spare crank sensor as they tend to go without much of a warning.

Will also be doing a trip away for a few days soon so thought I would heed the advice re the crank sensor. Do these look ok? Anyone bought one?

False economy, buy a genuine one from your Vx dealer.
