It perhaps has black recaro leather interior if not police spec and it has uprated rear shocks and different alloys...but anything else or is that it??
-
it doesnt handle like a wallowing boat!!!!
nah i think u got it covered!
-
Thats it apart from maybe if you prefer the carbon trim over the wood look.
I much prefer the silver look on the face-lifts over the wood look 8-)

It's only "better" if you want a sportyer Omega, overal spec the Elite has more toys stright out the box before adding the options, such as leather, Sat nav, rear blind etc etc

May be stripping one very soon...wondered what all the fuss was about! lol

Personal choice for me is the Elite.
Allthough the one option they should have fitted was on the Senator. The 3 positon suspention setting.
Or could that mod be added to the Elite.?

if your breaking one up what nick are its allys in?
-
plain and simple its not

Prefacelift:
MV6 roughly CDX spec without cruise, but added HIDs. Same 3.0l engine and gearbox as 3.0l Elites. Lowered, stiffened suspension, 235/45R17 types and shit alloys which buckle and distort.
Facelift:
Roughly CD spec, with HIDs. Same engine/gearbox as equivilent engined elite. Same size tyres as elite. Lowered/stiffened suspension.

I hardly used that, and when I came to replace the rear shocks on my Senator the extra cost involved to continue having this feature just wasn't worth while. Personally I am pleased they did not fit it to the Omega. :y

Ive got the best of both worlds and it was easy. I bought a full spec Elite and the added sports leather seats, 17" MV6 alloys and a LSD plus a few other goodies :y

Personally I think the suspension and the sports seats are well worth having. Much less wallow and much more support than the standard setup. Firmer ride as well, though, so not for everyone.
Again, personally, I don't like a load of unnecessary toys either (or rather, I don't like fixing them when they break!), so the MV6 spec is fine for me.
However, it is not hard to upgrade an Elite as said.

Or my way, get MV6, add the missing bits - bose, blind, carin etc
-
It's safer.
Given normal driving speeds, the MV6 has more grip (therefore braking and steering capability) in reserve.

Or my way and buy an Elite facelift 3.2; black / carbon fibre the wood trim and add the MV6 springs and shocks with 19" Vx wheels. :y
Investigating "sporting" my grey leather front seats at a coach-trimmers.
Monaro brakes and an LSD will make it even better than both.
Oh and IMO the MV6 isn't a better car overall than the Elite.
