Since ive had my Omega the wipers have been "not right"
ie, when in the park posistion You can move the wipers about 6 inches up (The other arm moves aswell with the one you move)
The amount of play is HUGE, I can understand about an inch but this a good 5-6 inches of play and the pass arm hit the windscreen plastic cowling at the bottom.
Is there something I need to tighten? The wiper arms are tight down on the spindle things so there not slipping teeth, the entire motor/system has play.

remove the skuttle under screen will give access to the motor with a bit of luck the nut ontop of the motor would have worked loose and just need tightening might need a tweek to get the arms in the right place for the down sweep not to hit skuttle again but persevere i had same prob 2 weeks ago :y :y :y

Yeh I had moved the wiper on the splines but then noticed the huge amount of play. Move the wipers to sort them. All fine, then the wind on the motorway move what I assume is the mechanism and thus, there out of allignment now.
Ill have a look under the scuttle, got any pics?
