evenin all,
my 1998 omega 2.5 v6 saloon keeps grounding on speed bumps and anything with a bit of a dip or raised bit,it either drags on exhaust or tow bar grounds as i go over last bit of bump, :( :oany suggestions as im worried when i stick caravan on im gonna have problems, :question :'(

rear springs? they can break towards the bottom. In any event, may be worth replacing them - should cost about £70. Unless you've got self levelling then they will control ride height
-
Are the dampers soft - my MV6 used to do same with 4 adults in before I replaced (with std OE) shocks...
-
has it always done it? how long you had it?
or a recent problem just started as if somat broke?
-
it would be the springs that goven the hight m8 they could have become weak over the years the shock only stop the bounce

Oooo! Now there's a brave man. I hope everyone knows that it was Andyb that posted that & not Andy B! :y Apparently MV6 dampers do have something to do with ride height! :y

As do the Elite self levelling dampers.

but the car in question appears to be a cd, so if I'm right it probably does not have self levellers unless it was a optional extra

thank you for saying that i was under the impression that the cd model never had self leveling sus

What you need to be aware of is that the Omega has gas shocks as standard.......and if the gas pellet fails then they do drop.
The springs generally are the favourite though.
