I finished fitting my brand new genuine GM exhaust system to my V6 today.
It's made a huge difference, performance is well up, low rev pickup is definately better - and up towards the top of the rev range is a huge improvement..
And the noise... is really nice.
Genuine GM all the way - well worth the £240 on TC.

I agree James, my petrol consumption has improved since I fitted my new GM exhaust.

Did you sort the rear multiram James?

£1.99 exhaust bandage from Halfords sorted mine out :y ;D
Be interesting the end of next month if Mr MOT man fails or passes it for it :-/

Did you sort the rear multiram James?
Tech2 can actuate it, so we think on the later 2.5 like this one, it's possibly only meant to work under conditions that you can't see when blipping the throttle, EG it needs load, too...
TBH, it's driving well enough for me to think it's working, now I've replaced the blocked exhaust, the power increase was enormous...
We'll have to see what 3.0 cams bring - I have a set, and all the experts promise nothing but good things when they're fitted, so Im not sure how long I can hold off fitting them ;D

Is it possible to prove? ie maybe a webcam and laptop or Markie strapped into the eng compartment while you go for a spin ;D ;)

A rolling road day in Bromsgrove as mentioned a few weeks ago methinks!

It will be handy if it can be proved one way or the other. There are forum members up and down the country, heads under the bonnet, revving the b*llocks off their meegas, trying to get the damn things to move.
I blame M-DTM ::)

Dont wait , go to the car this very moment and fit them. Then if they are good ill pay you to fit some on mine ;D

I've been able to rev throttle cabled V6's and get both multirams moving ... you just need to rev it hard and fast to get the second stage one to move (pretty sure that's the rear one ...) - need to hit about 4k RPM which on a quick blip isn't reached ... probably not a good idea on a cold engine though ;)

I'm going to buy one, but i need to sell the car to buy it :D
