I have the chance of a boot lip spoiler for miggy, it has to be removed from a car.
Do you think it could be removed without damage, are they bonded on as it was factory fitted.
Whats the best way to fit it to my miggy, would there be gaps between the spoiler and boot as it was not fitted on my car and comes off another, i know all boots are the same on facelift but would you reckon it would fit ok.

They are bonded on with silkoflex or something similar I believe, a sharp blade would probably slice through the bonding and somebody recently mentioned that there may be a screw at each end.
Was thinking that a cheese wire might help cut through the bonding if you can start it off at one end and if your not bothered about the boot lid that you are removing it from.

it'll be fine as long as it comes off undamaged
when it arrives, get the remainder of the left over bonding glue off it and re-apply fresh, but make sure you previously line it up on your boot to make sure you get it in the right place :y this is my GLS with an elite lip spoiler:

Could you remove the bootlid from the car, then do the spoiler removal at home, I wonder? More time + more "spinnability" of the lid...
