hi


i need a 16 inch alloy tyre size is225/55/16 problem is only need i wheel and tyre as spare

If you want another alloy - which style? If it's to go in your boot a 225 tyre wont fit, that's why Vauxhall put a 195 on a steel as a spare.

thanks for reply its a 5 spoke alloy is that right a 16 inch wont fit in boot whats the point of 16 alloys if you cant get same size in boot as spare car would run badly if you put 15 inch on with 16 inch wouldnt it

It's not cos of the rim size, it's cos of the width of the tyre ie 195 instead of 225. The 15" rim will have more or less the same rolling diameter as the 16" as the wall is bigger on the 15". As the rim size goes up the profile comes down to make the overall size the same.
