Title: Suspension upgrade
Post by: bigride on 19 July 2008, 13:56:32
Hi guys I need a little help.

Time has come where I think I need to replace my Suspension all round, are there any recommended Suspension upgrades.

I’m not a sporty driver and nor do I drive fast, I would just like something that makes the car handle a little better then it dose because the suspension which I am using is the original factory fitted which now has done its life shall I say.

I also need some new head lamp units. Are there any breakers in the east London area? If so where are they located?

All help is much appreciated many thanks guys.

Could try the MV6 suspension. If you need parts then have a look in the parts section on here. Lots being broken, so you should be able to get what you are looking for.

I think the MV6 is over rated...as apart from the shocks and recaro leather there is nothing special about them at all...

well.. i got the 2.0 cause the insurance is too much on the v6 atm :S
i quite fancy the mv6 alloys :P
the swimmin pool rubber rings (205/65/15's) are ok for comfort but i dont like too much sidewall
and i didnt want the 8v cause i like power :P
single wheel burnouts in the wet onto a roundabout or gettin sideways comin off em are fun

Hi
For what its worth I changed the suspension on my 2.6 V6 estate and fitted irmscher Springs and Shockers. I also replaced the front wishbones, which incuding bushes as the car had done 135K miles. It all sharpened the car up rearly nicely, and dropped the rear end a tad as well. :y
