Title: uneven idle on a 2.5

help needed !! uneven idle, this has got a little worse in a few days ,i have a 2.5 face lift model ,just had a new cam belt fitted a month ago by a good garage ,Anyone have any ideas for a novice !! cheers

Has it been like it since the belt was done or was it like it before????

hi no it was ok after i got the belt done ,but only a week after it started ,just got a little worse over a few days , cheers

Maybe worth cleaning out the idle control valve... its pushed into the right side of the plenum as you look at the engine, with a pipe leading to the air pipes at the front of the throttle body.

thanks for your help mate ,i will do that as soon as i get ready ,and i will clean the breathers out too . Thanks again
