I assume you mean the Crank sensor?
It's next to the oil filter.

could someone clarify exactly which plug it connects to????? or is there only one it can connect to??? and is it at rear of engine above the dis pac??
-
"The connector end of the sensor is located at the rear of the engine and improved access can be gained by removing the wiper arms and scuttle cover".
-
cheers lads. as i understand it is the crank sensor goes down it stops the fuel and spark?? is this correct? and is it true that the cam sensor will show the same faults??? thanks for your help lads
-
you'll get different fault codes for cam and crank sensor
I think the general wisdom on the V6 is that the cam sensor is robust but the crank sensor is not.
hope this helps
