Title: Ignition Barrel & Steering

I can't post  in the wanted section but I'm really having difficulty getting hold of an ignition barrel/steering lock assembly for a non-adjustable column.  Are these really rare? Does anyone know of a non-adjustable column being broken?

about £55 for ignition barrel from a vauxhall dealer about 2 year ago. needed to go on holiday and couldn't wait for code match so now i have an extra separate key for ignition. if your key still works the barrel it easy to change as to remove it the barrel has to be in 2nd position with ignition on. in my case the tumblers in barrel had collapsed and it was a chisel, a cutting dremel and great care to remove the old barrel.

Ooh, might be one for the breakers on here, there
are a Couple. But... Doesnt the barrel come with the lock
Assembly, and therefore comes with the key as well?
Or are the 2 differant parts? Never been in there
myself?  :-/
