Title: Code 93 - 2.0 16v ?
Post by: philhoward on 08 July 2008, 21:21:02
Only ask because its not listed on the Simetc 56.0/1 codes..although is Hall Sensor on a V6.

Came up when I was playing around with the lack of fuel pump issue at the weekend when the pump was unplugged (testing for voltage on the plug).  Got flashing EML light at the time as well but not since.  A new code for "totally run out of fuel" or a divide by zero error on the MID even!?!

I've now had it pop up again for no reason - just wouldn't start first time.  Can anyone shed any light...please???

Crank sensor I think.  Hall effect sensor is different wording for crankshaft sensor.  It would also explain the poor starting.

Cheers, haj...the cable is in a pretty poor way (virtually all the outer sheath has cracked off).  Will have a closer look tomorrow, but best budget now a new 'un...gen VX, from what i read..?
