I've been ringing round trying to get someone that will look at a factory fitted LPG, most of them say they havent got the gear to look at the diags side of the LPG, Is there another box of tricks as well as a TECH2 that they need to be able to do this ?
Cheers

yes mate tends to be a flylead into a laptop ! update your profile so we know were you are ! :y

IIRC you need to search for someone who specialises in a brand called Koltec/Necam... The system is very sensitive to coolant temperature and level! What problems are you getting? It may be a simple thing to fix! :question

Thanks for that info,
Looks like I might have a few probelms, Just noticed that someones taken out the engine warning light as well, so even though it feels OK on petrol the engine lights on.
If I switch to LPG can hear some solenoids click over in the back, it runs lumpy few seconds and changes back to petrol.

Go to this forum, sign up and search for Vauxhall or Koltec... You may find an easier answer!!

Is there LPG in the tank? ;D
I must admit, the Koltec system in my Vectra was excellent... same economy/performance as petrol and, it would start on the stuff on the coldest of mornings!

I think you were lucky James... I was a fairly active member on the LPG forum when I was running the Rangie and the Koltec system was the worst for reliability! In fact, Vauxhall were having any car with a warranty re-fitted with a more reliable system rather than trying to fix it! :o :o :o :o

Yep, its full. Funny thing is that the petrol gauge works OK on Gas (reads nearly full) but will not work when back on petrol, have checked the petrol sender and its OK but dont know where it goeas after that as it must be switched somewhere with the LPG before the dash.
How do you tell if its a Koltec ?
Thanks again for the help

Found someone near me that can do Koltec, but I am still stuck on the petrol sender, does anybody have wiring diags for a 2.0 LPG factory fitted ? It must be something to do with the LPG as on a normal petrol it just goes from the sender to the gauge.
Thanks
