Replaced the knock sensor (genuine) to cure code 17.
Light was still on when I started engine. After engine warmed up, light went out.
Booted it and light came back on! Cruised and light went out, accerlated again, it came back on.
Read codes, came up with 17,19,73 and 16!!!! :-?
Just replaced crankshaft sensor (geniune). Is ECU up the duff!

Check your alterntor and battery connections (might be a little warm) - either of these can cause codes galore..
-
Take the car a good drive (not up the road and back) on petrol and see if the light stays out. Good chance your lpg mixture is lean - this will flag a knock sensor code. Believe me, I had similar which drove me nuts for ages. Ignore the LPG software when confirming the mixture for now just test if the light goes out when driven on petrol.

Checked battery leads, tightened all up. topped up oil etc.
Light stayed off until I drove down road, came back on again. Tried both petrol and lpg. Lights stayed on. Then engine warmed up, and light went out (on lpg). Booted it and light came back on.
Redid codes. same codes! :(
Suspect alternator/battery or ECU???

Still reckoning mixture - when was the vapouriser last serviced, any smell of gas? Possibility diaphragm needs renewed on your vapouriser. If there is no problem with the vapouriser check for air leaks. Try richening the LPG mixture and see if it improves if it does then you know the problsm.

Serviced back in May with new diaphragm and rolling road tune up.
I don't think its LPG related as it does it on petrol too.
-
Air leak then? I assume the oil level is topped up as well.

JUst returned from 120 mile drive and the engine light has stayed off! :) (touch wood!) I stopped 3 or 4 times too, and the light came on as normal and went out straight away :)
Looking at your post on another thread, I topped my oil up yesterday, just incase that was causing any probs.
-
eml light came on for low oil level??? I thought that came
Up on the info display along with all the other
warnings? Screen wash, coolant level, brake pads,
Fuel, also zenons/self level if you have then, etc...
-
No, low oil comes up on the screen but read a post that stated low oil can cause knock sensor fault.
