Title: Omega lip spoilers
Post by: RichardH on 11 July 2008, 08:51:57
Hi all,

I am trying to source a facelift boot lip spoiler for my CDX but having a lot of trouble finding one.

I see a few spoilers for pre-facelift cars on ebay and was wondering would they fit a facelift car?

Thanks,
Richard

Anyone know how to remove one of these spoilers without damaging either the boot paintwork or the spoiler.   :-?
There doesn't appear to be any screws etc.... I'm guessing it's been secured with twin sided adhesive foam tape.

I've just acquired an Irmscher spoiler with the built in LED brake light and intend to replace this factory fitted one.

Hi,

Well if I manage to remove mine without wrecking it and the Irmscher replacement fits ok then my Elite one may just be available.

Regarding adhesive - I guess very thin double sided adhesive foam tape would be favourite - however the Irmscher one has two screw fixings that mount on each outer lip of the boot lid.
