Title: Pulling things.....

I have  large...er very large twin wheel caravan, Ive checked the weights and Ill be ok with that but I need a tow bar, any suggestions about where to get the best deal on one?

Any fitting tips???

Cheapest way is to have a search on Ebay. Can't do much better than this for a spanking new one:

I've had one of these and it turned up quick, was straightforward to fit, etc. Of have a look in the "For Sale" section for a second hand one.

You can get prettier swan-neck and removable ones. be aware that some require a plate to be bolted to the boot floor which can be a pain. The above one doesn't.

Plenty of info here about wiring up the electrics if you do a search.

Fitting tip: If you find you need to remove the tar-like material from the boot floor, softening it with a hot air paint stripper when scraping it off with a chisel is the way.

Should say the information above relates to the saloon towbar. Estates are radically different.
