Title: Cleaned the scuttle area
Post by: Martin_1962 on 29 October 2007, 12:53:15
Just checked the car, and saw something shiney in the scuttle area.

Firstly cannot find the outlet on a facelift
Secondly all you need is a VAX :y

Looked like it had been blocked with straw

Had to remove the ECU to get the VAX end in there!

Washed through OK afterwards

Only if it is clogged - you may even be able to get your arm in, but I couldn't find suitable wire at the time.

Not done water can get into the cars ventilation system and knacker the fan.

My LPG ECU could have been soaked as well :o

I use a length of electric cable - the kind for wiring a house which is quite stiff so you can bend it to shape.
