Title: ABS ECU/PAS
Post by: Ironingboard on 07 August 2008, 22:27:16
Ok, I've got some problems with my Omega, happened all of a sudden, my ABS/TC light came on and my speedo stopped working. Also my PAS seems to be really heavy as well.

I know that this is a well known problem with the ABS ECU, but the problem comes and goes and its been narrowed down to the connector on the ABS ECU , when I touch it, the problem disappears, could it be a bad connector that needs to be cleaned or is the connector a sign that the ECU is on its way out.

Thanks

If playing with connector fixes it, then fix the connector first ;)

You're dead lucky if its the connector.  Try removing it, spray with contact cleaner and replace.  If not its the ABS ECU - b*gger to swap.
