Post by: REvil71 on 08 August 2008, 22:09:37
Is there a code to open up the phone in the omega so it will use more than just vodaphone. 8-)

hardware limits it to o2 & voda, not software.

Uses old system... hence O2 got the iPhone deal  ;)

if its ccrt700 or ncdc2015, it will only be gsm900, hence voda or o2 (and providers that use there networks)

I have a nokia ck-7w bluetooth kit wired through stereo, as well as the ccrt700 phone, so people can get me on either number.

With bluetooth kits so cheap off egay, and a fair proportion of Omegas prewired from 98 on, not really any excuse not to have one really.

There is! I wouldn't have a clue where to start fitting it! If anything needs blue toothing I give them my phone and tell them to make it happen!  ;D

the h/f kit wiring lives up the passangers heater cover you will find a connector all the wires are there or you might be lucky and find a Nokia CARK-91 like i did but you will have to replace it with a more modern one like a CK-7W i believe the wiring is interchangeable

im on Vodaphone and have 2 sims with the same number one for phone one for car cost me £15 for the extra sim but i have to turn my main phone off for the car phone to ring!

plug and play, with exception of Mic, which I'm sure you can run a cable up the A post and across to near sunroof panel....
