You will need a SIM for O2 or Vodafone (only), one of the credit card sized ones.
Works great once you get used to it.

Regards servicing.checking cambelt history is a must. It needs changing every 40,000 or 4 years, whichever comes first.
oil changes every 3-4,ooo miles, and the crankcase breathers need to be kept clear other wise the cam cover gaskets leak and damage plug leads and dis pack.
All the info is available on the site and there are people with lots of knowledge who are happy to give advice and help. :y

any mobile 02 or voda provider, pay as you go or contract if you want, loose sim can be pressed back into any card "holder"(the credit card sized bit) and sellotaped on the back.
Service belts at 40k and gear box oil every 60k (vx say 80k, ignore them)
Other fluids and filters every 10k iirc clean breathers once a year to stop your cam covers blowing and filling your plug wells with oil. It will benefit from oil changes every 3k for a while esp. If short journeys.
Do your breathers now tho it rarely gets done by garages. And pull a plug on both sides to see if wells have oil in. If so it will bugger your HT leads and possibly  dis pack as well. Worth a look through the maintenance section, guides will help in there. Welcome to the forum.

Ps helps to fill in your profile too. We can help better with your car and location info. Cheers
