don't bother with pattern.

Fit GM, £80 for discs and Pads.

Brakes is one area not to penny pinch!

If they're anything like their water pumps, then they'll split into 2 pieces when you tighten the last bolt up...

Brakes are one area you can't really skimp on - unless you come across some good OEM ones (Brembo, AP etc), then get genuine..

Get a TC card - thats retail price. TC price £71.40 + VAT

Forget Trupart - they're total sh*te mate!

Best to fit genuine Vx or EBC.
You get what you pay for .... !

Quite right ..... its the only thing thats going to stop you .... dont cut corners ...... :y

Some pattern discs have  been known to warp in as little as a couple of months, so you end up paying out and doing the job  twice get yourself a t.c. and get genuine brakes. T.C.will pay you back on oil cost saving alone :y

fit GM - nothing is better value for money.  I fitted brake engineering disc and ferodo pads before finding OOF.  Got no problems with them but they were no cheaper than TC prices (which I did not know about at the time)

I had some Italian junk pattern ones on the MV6 - First set they replaced after a few weeks, 2nd set they skimmed after a few more weeks, then I changed them back to genuine after about a year.

I'm the first to admit I may sometimes be a bit harsh on brakes, but they were rubbish.
