The black has come off my ECO button and the dealer says its part of the whole heating system control panel costing £535 + VAT :( . Is there a way of replacing this button if I could get one from a breakers ??
Cheers Mike.

I find it really hard to believe the facelift Omegas are THAT different...pre 2000 the eco button simply unplugs from the dashboard with the help of a small flat bladed screwdriver and you simply popin a replacement...surely the facelift cant be any different???

Yip I heard the same thing, tried to source some from Siemens who make the control module for the Omega climate control. The rubber buttons are not a separate item according to VX, but if you look at the VX EPC for the face lift climate control, it gives a Siemens part number for the rubber buttons.
You can try to contact Siemens directly or you might try RS to order a Siemens part for you. Worth a try, always play the environment card and say that your trying to reduce electronic waste ;) etc.
Best of luck and let us know how you get along.

Failing that the panels pop up on ebay now and again...replace the whole lot.
