Title: drivers door lock-stuck..sigh

anyone kno how to free the door lock on my omega?...was a little stiff for a while but now -even with the key-the door ''button'' refuses to pop up and i have to climb across from the passenger seat....

presumably doesn't unlock if you lift the button inside?

I occasionally (every couple of years or less) squirt some WD40 into the lock(s)

button won shift at all.....window open-''jiggling'' key in lock whilst tugging at the button.....stuck fast!!..

pop the plastic part off and grab the rod with molegrips and pull like opps it will go !!  :y

managed to get it up!!..could'nt do it with the coat hanger but gently, with a cloth over the button, mole grips and...presto!...thanks chaps
