Not been around for a week or so...have been carrying out my 'community service' at the mother in laws house.
So managed to get the following done:
New alarm fitted (Texecom Veritas Excel) with all the wiring under floor boards
Re-decorate the spare room including new carpets etc (had to sand all the walls to seal the plaster)
Sort out the flashing on the chimney (water coming through the ceiling)
Fix the door bell
Fit a new front light
MOT the car (it passed!)
Mix 4 ton of concrete for the base of Matchelss's new 'retreat'
And then a trip up to Burnley for a 40th wedding anniversary (not mine)......
Next jobs are....
Chase Laidback66 up to get the LPG estate sold.
Remove a stuck plug from the neighbours Fiesta (swine of a job)
Fit a new exhaust on the car (it deserves a treat!)
Fit a replacement fan to the climate panel

Can't do enough for a good mother-in-law :y

And I will sort out the estate with you very soon (on holiday next week for 10 days :D)

Fit a replacement fan to the climate panel
Is yours buzzing all of the time whilst the ignition is on? I have a fan like noise coming from the centre of my climate panel and wondered if this was it?
Do you think it is a straight forward problem to fix?
Thanks for any help,
Platty

Jim had the same problem with his at the Newent meet, a replacement climate panel cured it.

You forgot:
Help TheBoy replace a CCR800 with a CCRT700 in the MV6 (bose is fitted now) - we may need your car to do some metering on ::)
-

From memory....its the same pinout as a CCRT2008.....which can be found under wiring diagrams against 2002 model Omegas.

I had looked at that. Was unsure if the connections to display and CD were the same as the CCR800, or do I have to frig about at those ends as well. I guess the MIC should be easy enough to work out.

They are not.....the display and CD changer connections use a balanced CAN interface.....not to hard to adjust though.
