Any forum member have suggestions how I can make up some spare keys fairly inexpensively?
The blades and immobilizer chip are straight forward to me but it is the remote section of the key that I can't get a handle on.
If I buy some used remotes, how and where can they be programmed. Can they be done in the ignition or has this to be done otherwise?
With thanks

New remotes (and immobiliser chips) require your car to be present, with a tech2 computer, and a good operator such as Theboy or Marks DTM Calib :y

yep. TB did myn,i only got one key with the car and was paranoid about waking up to an empty drive, blade and chip supplyed programmed with the car and car pass via tech2, just get it cut by a lock smith and you have a spare key as an emergency measure, and he removed all old transponer codes of which there where 5?!? Or you can then got the bliper and programme that as a proper job(dont forget your car pass ::) ) there are a phew threads on here about where to buy blipers, worth a search.
Ps it requires tech2, car, key, bliper, and car pass to be present, the key in ignition thing is just a re pair. It will not programme iirc. A couple of keys? How many cars have you got?
