Hi all,
I've just bought a 2001(Yreg) 2.6l Estate and want to share my joy, but I'm almost illiterate on a computer. :'( Could anybody explain how to use the likes of 'photobucket', and how to insert links (eg. to ebay items) in my posts, please?
I have a simple digital camera and associated software, and have even found out how to take a picture with it, and to view them, (I now do believe in miracles), but that's as far as it goes, I'm afraid.
Can anyone help to drag me into the 20th century. (Oh no! It's the 21st, isn't it!).
Cheers,
An apologetic ignoramus, :(

You need a photobucket account to start with.
Log in and press the buttons for uploading your photo.
Underneath the photo you get some switches - click on 'direct link' I think it is (if not try the others).
Then start your post. Where you want to insert your picture click on the button , top row, third in from the right (above the smilies) (Insert Image). Put your cursor in between the '(http://)' and right click, paste.
Click on preview at the bottom to check its worked.
Try experimenting in the test area until you get it right.
I may not have this spot on but usually get there with a bit of trial and error.

Thanks, Ians.
I'll give it a go when if things go quiet tonight.

And a practical tool for use, windows paint to stretch the sizes of big pictures..And save them in JPG format. This will reduce the sizes and transfer times..

Jeeez! I knew I shouldn't have started this. ;D ;D
Thanks anyway. I'm sure I'll get there in the end.
