Top. So the wind pressure can push it onto the screen.

BOTTOM

So that as the wind runs up the screen as the car moves forward it pushes the wiper down onto the screen. If its on the top it will 'lift' the blade off at high speeds on the 'downward' stroke

Goes to show how much notice I take! ;D I didn't think you could fit 'em wrong anyway, isn't there an arrow pointing somewhere on a wiper? They're parked up under the lip of the bonnet & so are hiding when I walk passed the car, and when they're not, I'm looking passed them & not at 'em! ;) ..... That's my excuse & as it's the best one I can think of I'm sticking to it!! ;)  ;D  ;D  ;D

Unless you guys have some weird design of wiper the spoiler should go at the bottom. Think about the aerodynamics, the biggest volume of air starts at the bottom of the screen (after it flows along the bonnet) so the spoiler forces this air over the top of the wiper increasing the pressure. If you put it on the top the air will go under the wiper and the only way it can escape from beneath the spoiler is to lift it off the screen.... not really what you want for good wiping performance!

My Omega doesn't have a spoiler on the wiper but I just checked a picture of my Subaru which had one fitted to the wiper arm itself (so you can't mix it up when changing the blade) and it's on the BOTTOM. :y

Crap quality picture but you can just make it out.... spoiler on driver's wiper is quite clearly on the bottom.

Just looked as I got home. Bottom as you say, but I did say in the first place that the 'spoiler'bit is there to push the wiper against the screen. You could work it out from that. :y

I agree with Paul M. It needs to be on the leading edge of directional airflow.. therefore the Bottom!
