Title: Error Codes  P1781   P0727

Hi all .... ive just got myself one of the RAC scanners ... now it has given me 2 pending codes ....P1781 engine torque signal unit ......and P0727 engine speed sensor circuit.....i have no warning lights on the dash ( and yes the bulb is there  ).... are these anything to worry about or should i erase them .... oh and i got the same result with engine running aswell

were they current, or stored?  If later, clear out, and see what comes back in a weeek.

Hang on, these are autobox errors, not engine. Whats stored in engine?

It says   codes total : 02
             fault codes : 00
             pend codes: 02
then it says P1781 GM Pd Engine Torque Signal Circuit
                 P0727 GM Pd Engine Speed Sensor Circuit No Signal

On set up ive set it to GM cars ... is this right ??

Stupid gay thing is talking 'dangle berries' I reckon.  Neither of those codes exist on Simtec71 ecu, they are gearbox codes (both related to CAN receives errors - often related to failing CAM sensor)

Yeah the car is going fine , i just thought i would get one for future use to save me paying Vx stupid money ..... cleared the codes and it now says no codes in engine or transmission .... :y
