Title: Plug lead change
Post by: BobF on 09 September 2008, 19:21:41
Hi, I am going to change the plug leads on my 2000 v6 omega. It looks a bit crowded at the back after taking of the scuttle. I would like some advice as to what needs to be taken off (if anything) to get at the DIS. Thanks

removing the plenum chamber from top of engine may give you a bit more room to manouvre , just keep all 'o' rings and plug holes with paper towel so nothing drops into engine.

i have seen a guide showing the layout of the plug leads and thier position on the dis pac but i cant find it, its real easy to get it wrong  and plug the lead in to the wrong position on the dis. i did my old car and it was a job done by feal!!!

hopefully you can work it out from the dis change guide above.hth :-/
