Post by: Tankie1rtr on 13 September 2008, 11:11:45
Hi Guys.
Can anybody please tell me the pro's and con's of Slick50, there seems to be a much devided opinion on here about it, I have always used it, but when I mentioned it on here recently, I was told to steer away from it.
Regards to all.

snake oil, avoid. Seen a program on the TV that said these additives actually cost you more MPG.

Yep.........good oil does not need these additives......and they are not ideal on modern engines anyway...

Snake Oil  ;D ! Just imagine all the poor slippery snakes that went into making it.
Fairly sure car makers would be using it if it did what it claimed.
