Title: spark plugs

does anyone know why my spark plug holes on the left bank would be full of oil enough to cause a missfire i have a v6 tourer estate p reg thanks :'(

A local member changed my cam cover gaskets on Saturday, there was more oil in the wells than in the engine, its a common fault.

Make sure its all put back square and with the correct torque, otherwise you'll be in the same position after a few miles.

Blocked breathers cause excatly what he said....common thing with V6's.

Just get it seen too quickly otherwise you might need a new coil pack...

thanks i will do it this weekend this car is starting to tick me off failed its mot today tyre,track rod end and wiper blade went to put spare on for now and its a different size car is 225 spare is 205 if i put it on it will fail for different sizes on same axle :'( wont it

Well, a tyre is a consumable (think yourself lucky it wasn't 4!) - a wiper blade is also a consumable and costs pennies - and a trackrod end certainly isn't the end of the world.

That's not a bad MOT result at all :y
