On the cars I have worked on in the past, this involved removing the sump, crankshaft mountings, and slipping in oil seals. If done yourself with car well raised it is not a too difficult job unless with the miggy you have to remove the crankshaft completely, then you are on to disconnecting big ends etc.
Real Omega engine specialist on here will no doubt advise! :y

I have done one of these on my 2.0 ltr I had but I replaced it when I renewed the cambelt. It is easy to do but you have to remove the cambelt to get to it. Strip the front of the engine down as if you are doing a cambelt replacement. take off the crankshaft sprocket and put two screws into the seal and remove. On refitting the new oil seal remember to fit it carefully. Once you have done this then replace the sprocket and refit the cambelt to the correct specification.
