I bought my little bargain and pixed it up at the weekend, head gaskets is fine, exhaust is blowing a little bit from the middle section ( I am having a guess that it the expensive part ???? roughly how much ) gearbox fine as well.
Only problems are the air con isn't blowing that clod so it needs re gassing, what the best way ( ie cheapest ) of doing this and is it hard to do it yourself ?
Also the rear seat pad is loose, is there a way for "fixing" it in or is it supposed to be able to move to get the rear seat completely flat ?
Also where would the rear boot release be ? doesn't seem to have one ( it is a face lifted CDX ).
Apart from that the car drive really nicely, wafty !
Any help gratefully recieved

If you find yourself at wheels in motion, they do aircon regasses.
boot release should be to the right of the stereo - small square button, be aware you may need to either hold it in for some time to work, or do it without the keys in the ignition, depending on age.

I never even knew that facelifts had a boot release inside. You learn something new everday. :y

About £60 for a regas, not really a DIY thing. You don`t have a remote boot release on an estate :)

A/C regas can't really be done effectively DIY due to special equipment required.
