How can you check for play in the wishbones and drop links??

Have some brand new still packaged wishbones that came with the elite I just bought need to know if its something thats needed yet...although I guess the imminent MOT will tell me for sure lol

Also how easy is it to change drop links and wishbones?

if i were you chris id start soaking the bolts with that gear i gave you, ive seen horror stories about the bolts through the bottom balljoint [pinchbolt?], if i remember i`ll bring a tin of the other stuff over, it smells like mothballs but is rather good ;)

Cheers Tim, might wait till the MOT is done before doing any major work like that but worth being prepared...once the ABS/TC ecu is sorted it should be ready to have a punt and see if owt else needs sorting lol

check for play in the wishbone bushes.... stick a large screw driver between the wishbone and the chassis, and see how much play is in it.
